Gigs

1 – Has to be the rolling stones concert. Not the best in as far as sound, and I prefer much more intimate gigs. But to see the legends in action and to wonder what narcotics they must be taking to keep their pickled old bodies jumping about like Mexican beans is a gem. Also the last gig I ever went to with my father. [review]

2 – Sicknote, sicknote, sicknote. Every time I go out to see these guys I end up off my face and still going the next day. I have never had a bad experience with them. The people who go to see them have never caused any problems and the music always makes me dance/laugh. Not a band for the wider general public, I feel the irony is lost on most “normal” people. Nevertheless, for anyone with a sense of humour this band is a must. [review]

3 – Alabama 3. I need to see this band again, and this time I will stay sober. I love the feel of this group and they are guaranteed to get you up dancing. [review]

4 – The Zutons. I would like to see this band again, maybe with a better head on my shoulders, in a better mood, and then I would dance and sing along. [review]

5 – I haven’t been to many gigs in all honesty this year. I have been working hard. But the one time I was working and lucky enough to experience a gig that I would recommend during festival season. The Secret Garden Party in Callaghans. Keep an eye out for this one. Well worth going to. [review]
