Fully Charged!

plot

Straight from the pages of a comic book to the big screen! Tony Stark is the world’s most brilliant man. He also is heir to his father’s legacy, Stark Industry, a weapon’s manufacturing company. Tony does all he can to keep making more up to date weapons for any military force willing to buy. He also is able to charm all the ladies he deems worthy, while poor Pepper Potts, his assistant, looks after all other matters.

But what happens when the world’s most brilliant man is captured by terrorists and forced to recreate his new and most dangerous weapon? Tony Stark is faced with the truth that is war, and decides it’s time to make a change. While captured, Tony is kept alive, after a blast of shrapnel, with a mini conduit that sparks a new idea in his brain. Enter the new and improved weapon, the iron suit! It’s time for Tony to make amends for all the lives lost due to the black market dealings his company has been doing behind his back. Soar through the clouds and bust some baddies with Iron Man this summer! You’ll want to go again and again!

Acting

Supreme job on everyone’s part! The actor to most stand out is no doubt Tony Stark himself, played by Robert Downey Jr. After battling through rehab, RBJ comes back to the big screen with full force! He doesn’t hold back on a sarcastic nature that is knows to be Tony’s trademark as well as his drinking and sleeping around habits. Everyone will instantly love him in this movie. Definitely a great comeback! Gwyneth Parltrow shines as Pepper Potts, Tony’s assistant. And the sexual tension is so great between the two. As the bad guy of the movie, Obadiah Stane, Jeff Bridges is brilliant. He will have you fooled at first. And the have you shaking your fist in anger. Don’t forget the loveable best friend Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes! Terrence Howard was good for the part. And he definitely let’s you know that he’ll be back “Next time baby!” *wink*

Verdict: This is going to be the best movie out this year, hands down! I personally went and saw it three times during it’s opening weekend and still wanted to go again. I was talking about it nonstop for days! Even got a bunch of people coming to me saying how right I was and how much they too loved it! Go see it! And then buy it when it comes out.
