Winter Solstice party
Although the venue was really quite quiet, the atmosphere was good and the bands were having fun.
Pondlife came out at 10 pm and were very much in the spirit of things from the start.
Perfect playing as usual from a popular local band. One of the most talented songwriters in the bay at the moment.
They were playing songs from their much awaited first recording that can now be purchased at the gigs, they had the audience’s attention all the way through.
It was nice for me to see them in this environment, as I have only ever seen them in the Illtidiens (not exactly a palace) and
they seem more at home on a stage with lights.
Somewhere they are destined to be? I recon so.
As a continuation from my last review of this band, they are as spontaneous as they are talented. Nice one to the Pondlife MCs!
Verdict: An enjoyable band, well worth going to see!
